Jessica Bethel M.Ed, BCBA, RBA (Ont,)
Jessica is a compassionate and dedicated professional committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming support for individuals with diverse behavioural, learning, and developmental needs. She strives to foster strong parent–child relationships through practical, compassionate strategies and tools, and is passionate about ensuring that every child and family is understood, respected, and heard.
Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and Education and is a Registered Behaviour Analyst* (Ontario). She has deep expertise in navigating both the school system and the Ontario Autism Program (OAP). In her former leadership role as Chief Education and Communications Officer at Autism Ontario, Jessica worked closely with AccessOAP, supporting families to understand their options, make informed decisions, and connect with services that truly fit their needs.
A core focus of Jessica’s work is helping children build meaningful social connections. She believes that friendships, belonging, and feeling “part of things” are just as important as learning skills—this is at the heart of Preskeh’s Connected Care model. Her programs are designed to support social-emotional development, peer relationships, and everyday confidence, while always centring the child’s autonomy and unique strengths.
Most recently, Jessica has focused on the development and delivery of training for parents, educators, and professionals. Her workshops and groups are designed to honour and celebrate neurodiversity while promoting meaningful growth, self-advocacy, and everyday skills that matter to families.
Jessica previously served as an ABA facilitator in the York Region District School Board, gaining valuable insight into creating inclusive, supportive classroom environments for students with varying needs. She has also supervised teams within regional autism programs under the former Toronto Partnership for Autism Services and Toronto Autism ABA Services, prior to the introduction of the OAP. These experiences inform her collaborative, team-based approach at Preskeh Connected Care.
